Whenever I hear almost any new (cough) ‘progressive’ group it makes me wonder, “Are bands like this -really- the best we can manage in 2017?” The only response people have to the above critique seems to be, “Man you’re -old-.” Which doesn’t address the point. And on almost every album, the groups were really -trying- to incorporate new instruments, cultures, chord structures, rhythms, techniques, etc. What originally drew me to progressive rock almost 50 years ago now was the -originality- of the best groups. Update: The Stygia was refunded on the same day that I submitted the ticket. Well some of you do I won't be farming Stygia again until it is fixed, and to hell w sockets. But for now we get to live with this crap zone. I would bet good gold that they will modify the maw significantly in the next patch, or perhaps hot fix it, to reduce mob density, improve travel speed, etc. That was par for the course for Vanilla and TBC, but Blizzard has generally taken the game in a different direction, or at least they have, until now. On the upside, if there is one, the this item is in keeping with some of the other shortcomings of the maw: a return to inconvenient, irritating, and senseless game mechanics. It's easier to just walk and kill mobs for their mount, if one happens to pass by. I bought it presuming that it was useful: I never imagined that Blizz wouild design such a worthless item in modern WoW and put a big pricetag on it. none are near the venari spawn point, and you have to kill mobs to access at least some of them.
